This is a very simple recipe that you can put together quickly and then throw in the oven and leave to cook. You’ll just have to check its moisture after 30 minutes, and add a bit more liquid if it is dry.
Serves: Four
Time: One hour and 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 tablespoon honey
Method
Heat oven to 180°C. Trim fat from pork and place in a lidded, ovenproof dish. Arrange sliced onions over meat. In a small bowl, combine the rest of your ingredients, and pour over meat and onions. Cover and bake for one hour. Remove the lid for the last 15 minutes.
