Throughout history, the naked human form has been inspirational, but who’d have thought it would be the focus of one of the coolest hotel packages we’ve ever seen marketed?
Until 15 June, the Art Series Hotel Group is encouraging its guests to nude up for art. You don’t actually have to get naked, as guests have the option to remain robed. And you don’t have to sit in the middle of a room full of art students, either. At this point, you’re probably wondering what I’m going on about. So, allow me to elaborate.
Simply book a room as part of the No Robe Package, and you’ll have the opportunity to pose nude or robed and have your image drawn and captured on paper, forever.
Sleep over at any one of the seven Art Series hotels in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide, and strike a pose in front of a custom-built photo booth in the privacy of your hotel suite. Your photo will be encrypted and digitally delivered to a one of Australia’s up-and-coming artists who will then do the drawing from their studio. Your image will be deleted and your A3 life drawing will be beautifully packaged and sent to you after your stay.
And if you’re a bit sheepish about disrobing on your own, you can do it as a couple. Basically, it’s one A3 drawing per room.
So, what’s the inspiration behind this package?
“Art Series Hotels are passionate about supporting the arts and delivering unique art inspired experiences for our guests and welcoming them with their creativity. The No Robe campaign certainly goes back to the history of the nude form in art and self-expression,” said the CEO of Art Series Hotels, Will Deague.
